NUJ Policy

ADM – Annual Delegates Meeting, when branch representatives meet to discuss union policy

Branch – A group of NUJ members in the same region or sector, for example the London Magazine Branch.

Chapel – A group of members in the same workplace.

Father of Chapel – The chapel chair, if male.

General Secretary – Like the union’s chief executive. Elected periodically, and works full time for the union.

Mother of Chapel – The chapel chair, if female.
